Why add under-canopy lighting?
Turn shaded lower growth into a better-lit production zone
Top lighting is essential, but foliage can shade the lower canopy as plants fill in. Positioning a dedicated LED bar below the upper leaves sends supplemental light directly into those darker spaces. That gives growers a practical way to improve light distribution across more of the plant while keeping their established top-light program.
Build rows that fit your beds
Connect fixtures end-to-end for an orderly row, or use a linking cable where spacing is needed. Power and 0–10 V dimming can pass through the connected fixtures, making it easier to plan a consistent under-canopy layout across commercial cultivation tables and beds.
Set the light at the right level
Adjustable support legs provide a 305–445 mm height range for floor or bed installation between plant rows. The fixture can also be installed with compatible hanging or surface-mount hardware where the cultivation layout calls for it. Its slim 75 mm wide aluminum body is designed for the limited space below a dense canopy.
Full-spectrum light for lower flower development
The spectrum combines blue, green, red and far-red light. Red-rich output supports photosynthesis in lower plant tissue; green light also contributes to photosynthesis deeper in a leafy canopy, while far-red influences plant light responses. The 120° beam helps spread the supplemental light across nearby lower foliage. A typical CRI of 88 also makes routine visual inspection more convenient.

Does an under-canopy light replace the top light?
No. It supplements top lighting by adding light to shaded lower foliage and flowering sites. The best layout depends on plant spacing, canopy density and the light already reaching the lower plant.
Where should the light be installed?
Place the support bases on the floor or a suitable cultivation bed between plant rows and adjust the bar to the lower canopy. Hanging and surface-mount options are also available for suitable layouts. The light is not designed to sit on plant pots.
Can multiple lights be connected along one bed?
Yes. Fixtures support end-to-end connection and cable daisy-chaining. Share your bed length, row count and supply voltage with iMOORELED so the power and dimming layout can be matched to your project.
Can I dim the connected lights?
Yes. These models support 0–10 V dimming and pass the dimming signal through the connected row. A compatible horticulture controller can manage groups of fixtures. Controller and connection accessories should be specified with the project.
What is the difference between the 120 W, 150 W and 180 W versions?
The 120 W and 150 W models are approximately four feet long, with 348 and 450 µmol/s PPF respectively. The six-foot 180 W model provides 540 µmol/s PPF. All three share the 120° beam, IP65 rating and 0–10 V dimming.
Is this light suitable for humid cultivation rooms?
The fixture is IP65 rated for the dust and water exposure common in controlled-environment cultivation. Plan cable connections and installation to match the electrical requirements of your room.
